Playing "dress-up"...

One of Annie's favorite things to do is to dress-up. This week she had many opportunities to play dress up with friends. As you will see, her favorite is usually Cinderella, but all dress-up gear is equally entertaining. Here are a few of the pictures...

When her friend Abigail came over to play, Annie pulled out every piece of dress-up clothes she had, in a quest to dress everyone up...including me. Abigail loved the beads, and Hudson took off everything Annie or Abigail tried to put on him. When I was dressed to her liking, Annie said, "mommy, you are posh!" Fancy Nancy is one of her favorite books and she uses very fancy words like "posh." We have been hearing a few more of them around the house lately. Today when she was getting dressed, I was putting a bow in her hair and she said, "mommy, that's my accessories!"
At our play group, Pray n' Play, this week, all the kids were playing in the dress up basket. Here is Annie with her friend Dady. I love how Dady used this fairy skirt for a hair accessory...she is so clever. Annie only wears that on her head now--and loves to try to get Hudson to wear it!
...and last but not least, my favorite...Annie's friend Ryan, who is such a boy, wanted to join in the fun and wore this fluffy red skirt the whole morning. He was so cute, and so hysterical. Complete with slippers and twirls, he was not missing out on any of the fun. (Sorry chad, I had to share this photo!)
