Annie's week was filled with all sorts of fun Christmas activities at school, and on Wednesday she was an angel in her very first Christmas program. The entire week prior she had been telling me that she was Mary, but I knew that she had been given the part of an angel. She would say to me, "mommy, the angel says, 'Glory to God in the Highest, peace and goodwill to man.' What does Mary say?" Well, you can hear what she came up with for that answer (see the following video)....When the day of the program arrived she was more than excited to be and angel because she got to wear a gold, sparkling hallow and wings--that girl loves to dress up! It was really special because, her Gronnie, Grandaddy and Nana were able to attend along with myself and Hudson, of course. Sam surprised all of us...he found someone to cover him at work and showed up at the last minute. Annie was so excited!!
And now, I present Annie Dickerson, as a Christmas angel...

On their last day of school, they had a Christmas party, but this party was really special because Santa came to visit. Annie could not wait to sit on his lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. For those of you that have seen Annie with Santa in the past, she was not so excited to sit on his lap...she basically screamed when she was 1 and 2. But this year is a different story. We wrote a letter to Santa, and it was truly the sweetest thing I have ever read. I wrote exactly the words that she dictated to me, she of course decorated it with a thousand Christmas stickers, then we mailed it. She only wants one thing from Santa, and something for her brother...she says, "maybe bring Hudson another train set or something." Annie has been very concerned that Hudson does not tell Santa anything that he wants for Christmas, so once again, she feels the urge to be his official translator. Here are some pictures from visiting with Santa...Merry Christmas!
