What being in Galveston is all about...

the beach! I know it might not be the most beautiful of seaside destinations, but we feel so lucky to live in Galveston where we can enjoy the beach whenever we want to. My friend, Laurie (Lea Lea), had a great idea to go spend the evening at the beach and have a picnic...and boy did we have a blast! The kids loved it, and I kept asking myself, "why don't we do this more often?" Right then and there I made a promise to myself that during our last year in Galveston, Sam and I would take the kids to the beach as often as we can and enjoy living so close to one of God's most beautiful creations.
